About Me
I have been passionate about all things entrepreneurial for as long as I can remember. I sold baseball cards in elementary school, candy in junior high and computers in high school. While I have never stopped tinkering on my own projects, I also really enjoy helping other people with their ventures. I have spent a good part of the the last decade doing just that.
I am currently a New York City VC and member of the DFJ Gotham Ventures team.
I am also spend a lot of my time trying to build community for entrepreneurs. I started the Blue Venture Community,
a group that serves Columbia University’s student and alumni
entrepreneurs, advise Duke University’s Global Entrepreneurship Network and am a member of
the NY Tech Meetup's Community Committee.
Before joining DFJ Gotham, I founded Zotspot, an internet search destination, and advised numerous other startups. I have also advised Fortune 1000 companies and private equity firms on the attractiveness of acquisition targets while at both KPMG and Bain.
I am married to my college sweetheart Laurie, who still manages to put up with all of my entrepreneurial endeavors.
